Pre-lesson:-
Stick the body flashcards on the board. Volunteers come to the board in turn to write the body
parts under the appropriate flashcard.
Lesson development:-
1. Pupils look at the song in the Student’s Book page 96.
2. Play the recording (CD3 23). Pupils listen and find out what the animals can do.
3. Pupils create a new verse in groups,
ACTIVITIES
4. Pupils practice and others have to guess which animal it is.
5. When pupils have learnt the song, practice it with the whole class. Use the karaoke version
of the song for pupils to sing in groups. (21st CA)
6. Each group sings their verse song in front of class. (CBA)
Post lesson
Pupils stand up. Say the body parts one after another. Pupils say the word and touch the
relevant body part. (HOTS)

bring from home.
3. Then, in pairs, pupils present their masks to the class.
ACTIVITIES
4. Pupils first introduce themselves to the class, then put on the mask. They become the
animal.
5. Pairs have a short dialogue asking each other about themselves and what they can do.
