EXPERIMENT- I

AIM: To analyse the given salt for acidic and basic radicals.
EXPERIMENT OBSERVATION INFERENCE

1.Physical Examination

a) Noted the colour of the White Cu2+, Fe3+, Mn2+, Co2+,

2. Dry Heating Test
Heated a pinch of the salt in a
dry test tube and noted the
following:
a) Gas evolved i. NH3 gas- i. NH4+ may be present
