You’re right. Now, can you tell me about the Yes, Teacher. The weather today is a
weather today? sunny day.

Correct, it is a hot day today because the sun is

shining.

Today, we are going to talk about something

that affects us every single day. Can anyone
guess what it is? Is it the weather, Teacher?

Wow! Good guess! You are correct! Weather

can change everyday. Sometimes it’s sunny,
other times it’s rainy. What else? Stormy, Teacher.
Windy, Teacher.
Cloudy, Teacher.
Good job! Did you know that there are safety
practices and precautionary measures we
should follow in every types of weather?
Today, we are going to learn how to stay safe
in all kinds of weather.

1. Review (Weather Wonder Puzzle)

First, let me check who can still remember

what our previous topic last meeting was.
We are going to play a fun game where you’ll Yes, we are ready!

of weather you usually do those activities in. I
will show you a picture, and you must guess
whether it's for a sunny, rainy, stormy, or

Exactly! We use umbrellas when it's rainy.

Nice job! Let’s go to the next picture. It’s for sunny weather, Teacher. We go
to the beach when the sun is out!
Yes, we love having picnics on sunny days. Teacher, it’s for stormy weather,
Great answer! Let’s try one more. Teacher! People stay inside and watch
the storm from a safe place.
That’s right! During a storm, we stay inside
and make sure we are safe.

Awesome! You all did such a great job today.

You’re becoming experts at matching activities
to the right weather. Keep up the good work!
We are ready, Teacher!

2. Motivation

Alright, class! Today we are going to play

Dress-Up Challenge. I will divide you into
three groups, and each group will receive a
paper doll of either a boy or a girl, and a set of
paper clothes. Your job is to choose the right
clothes based on the weather I describe. You’ll
work together to decide which clothes to wear
and then dress up the doll! Let’s see which
group can dress up their doll the best for each
weather. We will base your groupings on the
color of your name tag. Those who have pink
name tags will be the first group, then the blue
will be the second group, and the yellow will
be the third group.

Each group will get a paper doll, and I will

describe the weather condition. You have to
choose the appropriate clothes for that weather
from the pile of clothes you have. Just paste
and put the clothes on your doll. Ready?

The weather is sunny today. Dress your doll in

clothes appropriate for a sunny day!

Great job! Now, the weather is rainy. Dress

your doll in clothes that will protect them from
the rain.

Now, there’s a storm! How will you dress your

doll to stay safe and dry in a storm?

Great job, everyone! You’ve all done an

excellent job dressing up your dolls for the
different weather conditions. Now that we
know the right clothes for each type of weather,
it’s also important to think about how we can
stay safe in those conditions.

you keep you and your family safe during a
storm?

Those are great safety steps! Some people

also pray for safety during storms. Do you
think prayer can help people feel calmer
and more protected during tough times?

I agree. Now, let’s think ahead a little.

What do you think will happen if the rain
continues for days?

What will you do if your house is flooded

because of the heavy rainfall?

that we’ve learned about weather safety,
let’s see if you can finish these tasks. Each

be given 8 minutes to do the tasks. Present
your work to the class when the time is up.

to follow safety rules?

precautions can save lives. I hope you will
continue practicing these safety measures
and teaching them to your family and
friends!
