How to Design Impactful Laws: Treatise on Legistic and Legisprudence  in the Age of Soft Law

In an age of soft law and globalization, it has become increasingly difficult for the law to “lay down the law”. To ensure in this new context that its impact is as fair as optimal, legistic must go beyond mere clear legislative drafting: it has to propose a method for integrating the strength of soft law in the democratic law-making process.
This treatise presents the foundations of the sciences of legislation (legistic or legisprudence), historically constituted to make laws more rational and effective, clearer and shorter.

It explains how to:
- create an integrated impact assessment that factors in all the components of sustainable development, among the multiplicity of public and private policy instruments (ex ante material legistic);
- formulate and communicate clear and coherent texts (formal legistic);
- retrospectively evaluate laws and public policies through methods which should become more participative (ex post material legistic).

This treatise is based on Swiss and European Union law, with a look on comparative law. It includes developments in regulation and regulatory governance, behavioral economics, affective sciences and artificial intelligence.

This doctoral dissertation includes five related working papers that provide valuable contributions to the understanding of internal audit (IA) and its effectiveness. Paper 1 is a literature review that uses the perspective of new institutional theory as a framework and acknowledges that IA effectiveness is largely still viewed as a “black box” that is under-explored in academic research. Paper 2 is an explorative work that studies the variables that are theoretically associated with the IA function’s active role in corporate governance. This paper was published in the Journal of Applied Accounting Research (JAAR 2012). Paper 3 is a conceptual essay that discusses the status of IA as a profession and questions why the IA profession has not generally been seen as playing a significant role in the financial crisis, either as part of the problem or as part of the solution. This paper was published in the Managerial Auditing Journal (MAJ 2012). Paper 4 is an empirical survey that clarifies the discriminatory power of characteristics suggested by practitioners and academic research that may indicate IA effectiveness. Paper 5 is a qualitative research paper that breaks new ground in applying role theory (Kahn et al. 1964) in combination with the theory of relational coordination (Gittell 2006) to the research context of IA effectiveness. This dissertation builds on an exhaustive literature review, provides a mix of different methods and perspectives and offers innovative and complementary insights that open the door for further research.

Teaching effectiveness of the faculty is one of the most critical areas that need to be considered. The success of the students will depend to a great extent, upon how well the teachers have trained them. This paper evaluated the faculty members' level of teaching effectiveness in the teacher education program in Pangasinan State University Asingan Campus, Philippines. Their professional background was assessed. Their level of teaching effectiveness along commitment, knowledge of the subject matter, teaching for independent learning and management of learning were considered. The study used the descriptive and evaluative methods of research. Questionnaire Checklist was used to gather data. The Faculty Evaluation Instrument (QCE of the NBC No.461) was adopted to evaluate the faculty members' level of teaching effectiveness. It further tested significant relationship between the faculty members' level of teaching effectiveness and their professional background. Salient findings are as follows: the teacher education faculty members in Pangasinan State University Asingan Campus are qualified professionals who possessed the maximum educational qualifications and eligibility to work in a state-run university. Only few of them graduated with honors and attended training and conferences in the national and international level.; their level of teaching effectiveness is Very Satisfactory; the profile variable awards/honors received influences the faculty members' level of teaching effectiveness.

A cross-sectional study was conducted from September 2009 to March 2010 in and around Haramaya town to determine the species composition, prevalence and seasonal variation of ixodid cattle ticks. During the study period, a total of 3117 adult ixodid cattle ticks were collected from the half body regions of 346 local breeds of cattle which were under extensive management system during early dry and early wet periods and then identified to genera and species level. Six tick species of four genera were identified in which two species each belongs to the genus Amblyomma and Rhipicephalus and one species each belong to the genus Hyalomma and Boophilus. Of the total tick collected, Amblyomma, Boophilus, Rhipicephalus and Hyalomma constitutes (65, 26.3, 10.9 and 7.8%), respectively. The prevalence of tick species were Amblyomma varigatum (41%) Boophilus decoloratus (26.3%), Amblyomma coherence (14.9%), Hyalomma rufipes (7.8%) and Rhipicephalus evertsi (5.5%) and Rhipicephalus pulchellus (5.4%). The present study reveals that A. varigatum was the most abundant cattle tick species in and around Haramaya town and while the R. pulchelusis the least abundant. There was no statistical significance difference (P> 0.05) in tick infestation between sex of cattle's but tick infestation was significantly (P< 0.05) higher in adult age groups of cattle compared to caves. The favorable predilection sites of Amblyomma species were ano-vulva, udder/scrotum, but B. decoloratus preferred dewlap, perineum and udder/scrotum. The sex ratio of all tick species identified during this study period was skewed towards male except for B. decoloratus. The present study on tick species composition and seasonal variability contributes its part on how to design control strategies for ticks and tick borne diseases in the study area.

At the same time, the real state of af airs in this area indicates the rapid renewal and modernization of production processes, the introduction of advanced technologies and modern methods of corporate governance, the existence of systemic problems and shortcomings that hinder the rapid development of the industry.

This conceptual study is to propose the conceptual framework on the factors that influence the effectiveness of claiming deceased assets by Muslim inheritors. It is an exploratory study, and a semi-structured interview method will be used by interviewing the subjects on the difficulties that they faced during the claiming process of the deceased assets. Background: Diet is central to treatment of type 2 diabetes. This review aimed to compare the effectiveness of nutrition therapy delivered by dietitians to nutrition advice delivered by other healthcare professionals in adults with type 2 diabetes on metabolic parameters.

Methods: Cochrane CENTRAL, CINAHL, EMBASE, MEDLINE and PsychINFO were searched for randomised controlled trials of three months duration or longer, published from 1st January 2008 to 18th June 2019. Relevant data were extracted from studies with additional author information. Random-effects meta-analysis assessed mean changes in HbA1c and other clinical parameters. PROSPERO registration number: CRD42019130528.

Results: Of 2477 records identified, fourteen studies, involving 3338 participants, were eligible for qualitative synthesis and meta-analysis. The mean changes [95% CI] at follow-up in HbA1c, BMI, weight, LDL cholesterol, systolic and diastolic blood pressure were -0·47 [-0·92, -0·02] %, -0·38 [-0·63, -0·13] kg/m2, -1·49 [-2·14, -0·84] kg, -0·15 [-0·33, 0·04] mmol/L, -0·75 [-2·45, 0·96] mm Hg and -1·17 [-4·52, 2·17] mm Hg respectively in favour of the intervention group. The quality of evidence was limited due to heterogeneity, risk of bias, publication bias and indirectness.

Conclusions: Nutrition therapy provided by dietitians was associated with better clinical parameters of type 2 diabetes, including clinically significant improved glycaemic control, across diverse multiethnic patient groups from all six inhabited continents. This conclusion should be reflected in clinical guidelines.

Target: With advances in cognitive neuroscience and the developing connection between neuroscience and education in recent years, new windows has been opened in the realm of teaching and learning for the education experts. So education has vastly benefited from the results of researches in neuroscience to improve learning. The study strived to investigate the effectiveness of " brain based teaching " on the executive functions of the students with mathematics learning disability in Isfahan city. Method: To this end, three students with mathematical learning disability were selected using purposeful sampling. In this investing used a single subject with A-B design. Intervention was started after determining the base-line. The " brain based teaching " package was taught to each single participant for 26 intervention sessions. And 1 month after the intervention period follow-up test was performed. The instruments used, included, Raven intelligence test, The Iran key math diagnostic arithmetic and Conner's questionnaire neuropsychological. The gathered data was analyzed using descriptive statistics and visual analysis. Results: Based on that, Results revealed that during the visual analysis of data graphs for executive function deficits, the study intervention was significantly effective for all 3 participants. Conclusions: This study showed that brain based teaching improves the executive functions of the students and thus, could be used in educating children with learning disabilities.

This study was conducted to evaluate effectiveness of an integrated management intervention in the control of endo- and ectoparasites of pigs kept by smallholder farmers in Mbeya Rural and Mbozi districts of southern highlands of Tanzania. A repeated cross-sectional group randomization design was employed, with 10 villages in the intervention group and six villages in the control group. The intervention consisted of improving pig confinement, feeds and feeding practices, and strategic anthelmintic treatment of pigs with oxfendazole, to primarily control Taenia solium (porcine) cysticercosis and nematodes; and with ivermectin to control ectoparasites and nematodes. Blood and faecal samples, ectoparasite specimens and skin scrapings were collected at baseline and two follow-up rounds, at an interval of seven months. A total of 482, 460 and 421 pigs were sampled in 221, 196 and 139 households at baseline, first and second follow-up visits respectively. Sero-prevalence of PC, prevalence and burden of gastrointestinal (GI) nematodes and prevalence of ectoparasites were determined using Ag-ELISA, McMaster faecal egg counting technique and body searches/skin scrapings, respectively. Mann Whitney test was used to measure intervention effect by comparing changes from baseline values of prevalence and faecal egg counts between the two groups. No significant difference (p &gt; 0.05) was observed between the two groups, in changes from baseline of sero-prevalence of PC. The intervention significantly reduced prevalence of Trichuris suis (p = 0.044) and mean faecal egg counts of Ascaris suum (p = 0.02) from baseline to first follow-up. The intervention showed a substantial effect on the prevalence of ectoparasites as it significantly reduced overall prevalence of ectoparasites (p = 0.026), lice (p = 0.045), ticks (p = 0.049) and mites (p = 0.013) from baseline to first follow-up, and prevalence of ectoparasites, lice and mites from baseline to second follow-up (p = 0.052, p = 0.03, p = 0.017 respectively). This study has demonstrated a moderate effect of the intervention on controlling GI nematodes and ectoparasites, but no effect on sero-prevalence of PC. The reported ineffectiveness of the intervention against PC is probably an underestimation because serology is not able to provide quantitative data. It may also be a result of reduced compliance as this was a field study. Nevertheless, further studies are needed to better understand transmission dynamics of PC and explore One Health approaches including treatment of the human population against taeniosis to better secure public health.

The paper's purpose are overview, analysis and assessment of conditions and restrictions related to implementation of selected methods of QMS efficiency measurement. Design/methodology/approach In this paper have been used the method of critical literature review and case studies as well as the results of own research in Polish HEIs (using of Markov Chain and concept of value added educational service measurement). Findings The multiplicity and diversity of efficiency measurement methods causes the main problem for the school managers and interested parties becomes choice and verification due to the significance and importance from the assessment's credibility and objectivity point of view, and possibility of taking the measurement. The efficiency is measured by comparisons between schools, school's units and programs in two dimensions: economic efficiency and technical efficiency. To measure the economic efficiency schools there are used methods of financial analysis, methods based on costs quality measurement (eg. PAF) and Activity Based Costing. Quantitative indicators are used in technical efficiency measurement; they are calculated with the use of mathematic, statistic, econometric tools and operational research (e.g. Data Envelopment Analysis, Markov Chains, Stochastic Frontier Analysis, Six Sigma). Originality/value This paper is an attempt to systematise the methods used for measuring the efficiency due to the taken criteria such as the scope of indispensable data, results, costs and other limitations associated with the implementation of the method. The results of the study will be a prerequisite for further empirical analysis of conditions which determinate the choice and the results of using the methods for the QMS efficiency measurement in terms of adding value to the educational services. This study aimed at investigating the effectiveness of using a blended learning program on developing Palestinian tenth graders' English writing skills. To achieve the study aims, the researchers designed a writing achievement test consisting of (40) items. The sample study consisted of (40) students from Shohadaa' Rafah Basic School in Rafah Directorate of Education 2012-2013. The blended learning program was used in teaching the experimental group (20) students, while the traditional method was used with the control one (20) students in the second term of the school year (2012-2013). The experiment lasted for eight weeks. The study findings revealed that there were significant differences at (α ≤0.05) in the mean scores of the test in favor of the experimental group. The findings also pointed out that there were statistically significant differences at (α ≤0.05) in the participants' achievement level before and after implementing the blended program in favor of the post-application. This was attributed to the blended learning program in teaching writing. In the light of the study results, the researcher recommended that education stakeholders should adopt the blend in teaching English, hold educational courses and workshops for teachers in employing blended learning to enrich the teaching learning process, create effective learning environment that enhances self-learning and develops students' achievement level.

This chapter examines the domestic origins of the canons of construction used in treaty interpretation. It shows that these canons typically draw on domestic principles for statutory and contractual interpretation. Section I surveys general themes emerging from specific canons of construction, and provides a summary of some key links between the canons of construction and foundational sources such as the Roman Law Digest and the work of early international lawyers, such as Grotius, Pufendorf, and de Vattel.

Section II then zooms into some specific canons and their domestic origins. It examines the links that each canon has to the common and civil law traditions (and other sources), and the extent to which international tribunals have acknowledged the domestic origins of these canons. Just like national courts unconsciously rely on contract and statutory analogies in interpreting treaties, this section shows that international courts and tribunals often rely on these canons without awareness of their domestic origins, and even though they are not found explicitly in the Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties.

Critical thinking starts as soon as the information reaches our mind and ends when we already have our own standpoint regarding this information. The
aim of this paper is to study the importance of critical thinking in text understanding. Critical reading strategies, in their way, develop critical thinking skills that are essential for a deeper and successful
perception of a text. It supports and encourages pupils and students to be more aware of reading comprehension skills, to explore how to read between lines and behind the words. Critical thinking is
independent thinking. When teaching is built on the principle of critical thinking, each pupil or student is able to formulate his/her own ideas, estimations, and convictions independently. Consequently,
thinking is critical only when it carries individual character. A pupil or a student should have enough freedom in order to think and solve different problems independently. It is true that people who are able
to think critically, always ask a set of questions formulated in a proper way, try to pick up information from different people and make proper conclusions about this or that person, thing, or phenomenon.
Critical thinking is not a child’s innate quality. Some individuals can develop it as a result of training.
In order a person to think critically, an individual has to have a rich imagination, be rather creative, and have background knowledge. All these three qualities are absolutely necessary for a good critical

perspective to appreciate the strength of others’ arguments and helps recognize how one has reached a particular point while developing arguments. It is worth mentioning that the basic components of critical

Protocol no. 16 to the ECHR, which establishes judicial dialogue between national courts and ECtHR entered in force in August 2018, yet only 11 States have ratified the Protocol. With limited number of participating states and non-binding effect of advisory opinions, the question emerges whether such system enhances effectiveness of human rights protection. In search of an answer some of the ratification issues will be addressed. This paper will be discussing the position
of the States, individuals, courts and the ECtHR in judicial dialogue and the functioning will be compared to the CJEU referral procedure.

Unlike other information security awareness research, which focuses on explaining methods and strategies for increasing awareness, this paper examines and tests the efficacy of various information security awareness approaches and techniques using psychological hypotheses and models. Finally, it explains how to assess an organization's information security knowledge.

To automatically summarise a piece of content, the length of the original text must be reduced while keeping the crucial informative characteristics and meaning of the content. As a result, the automation of manual text summarization, which is a time-consuming and labor-intensive technique, is gaining popularity and is therefore a great stimulant for academic research. In today's world of information overload, abstracting and summarising large texts is crucial. Various techniques to text summarization have emerged throughout time. Traditional ways create a summary directly as a result of the document summary connection's duplication and omission. Deep learning systems have been shown to be effective in producing summaries. We focus on deep learning-based text summarization algorithms that have been developed throughout time.

Nomination process is the first stage of the identification process. The effectiveness and efficiency in nomination process of teachers trained and not trained on gifted students were examined in this study. Static group comparison or nonequivalent control group design was used. Teacher rating scale, information form and Raven's Standard Progressive Matrices Plus (RSPM+) were used as the data collection tools. Teachers' effectiveness and efficiency ratios in the identification process were calculated in the data analysis. In identification , efficiency is ratio of number of gifted students identified by teachers to number of students nominated. Effectiveness in identification is the ratio of the number of gifted students identified by teacher to number of students are really gifted. The result showed that the effectiveness and efficacy of teachers attaining training are higher than those not trained.

This chapter presents a framework for understanding how international courts (ICs) use socialization strategies to influence their performance. ICs can influence both their actual and perceived performance through internal and external socialization strategies. ICs can aim to improve their actual performance by socializing actors into ICs’ norms, rules, and procedures, and essentially clarifying their appropriate roles within international courts’ legal regimes. Internally, ICs improve their actual performance by socializing their judges and administrative officials into ICs’ norms, rules, and procedures. In addition, various dimensions of ICs’ actual performance are contingent on other actors’ behaviour within ICs’ legal regimes. ICs can therefore use external socialization strategies to align these actors’ standards of legitimate, appropriate behaviour with ICs’ norms, rules, and procedures, and thus improve ICs’ actual performance. ICs’ external socialization strategies can also be directed towards influencing actors’ perceptions of IC performance. As perceptions of performance are highly subjective and vary considerably among ICs’ various stakeholders, ICs can influence their perceived performance by disseminating particular normative standards for evaluating their performance. A comparative analysis of all twenty-three permanent, operational ICs reveals the prevalence of and variation in ICs’ internal and external socialization strategies, which influence ICs’ actual and perceived performance. Socialization is thus a key means by which ICs aim to improve various dimensions of their performance, as well as their stakeholders’ perceptions of it.

From the past few years, multi-stakeholder governance is one of the captivating concepts that mostly discussed in public administration. Multi-stakeholder governance has represented the modes of governing that involves a multiplicity of informal actors and formal institutions. This new mode of interaction has involving a network of government sectors, non-profit organisations, non-governmental organisations (NGO) and other non-state actors in implementing the public policy. There is many type of public policy and solid waste management policy is one of them. In developing countries, the issue of ineffective policy implementation on solid waste management has grabbed attention of many public policy scholars. Poor multi-stakeholder governance in solid waste policy implementation is one of the main causes. In fact, ineffective solid waste management will brought negative impact to human health, environment and the economy development. Hence, the study of multi-stakeholder governance is very crucial to enhance solid waste policy implementation. This concept paper is critically examines multi-stakeholder governance as a theoretical tool which has potential to advance our understanding on the complexity of policy implementation with regard to solid waste management. This could be an insight for developing countries like Malaysia for achieving sustainable solid waste management.

The objective of this study is to determine the impact of emotional intelligence on organizational performance in International Division of Tejarat Bank. The study is descriptive and correlation research that has been conducted to survey. The study population has been consisted of all employees in International Division of Tejarat Bank and 148 subjects have been selected as sample according to Morgan’s table. In order to analyze the data has been used descriptive and inferential statistics and the emotional intelligence and organizational performance questionnaires have been to collect the required data. The findings indicate that there is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence with organizational performance and its sub variables as effectiveness, efficiency, productivity, quality and innovation. Also emotional intelligence can forecast organizational performance as positive in International Division of Tejarat Bank (β=0.768).

In this article, we develop a conceptual framework that we call 'innovation leadership framework'. We identify innovation leaders as entrepreneurial shapers open to change and ready to question established rules to ensure the renewal of a system. Innovation leaders are self-controlled pro-actors who follow one purpose, implementing an innovation. The starting point of our framework is the primary data gathered in conversations and group discussions with 24 leaders and an open questionnaire with 25 innovators active in the field of innovation. The 'innovation leadership framework' is based on the data and compared with scientific knowledge. A final comparison of the innovation leadership framework' with three field experiences and common-sense anecdotal perceptions helped us to test the consistency of the framework and to identify sweet spots of effective innovation leadership.

The main idea behind Kotarbiński’s action theory—and thus, behind this book—is the significance of the philosophical investigations of the general conditions of effectiveness, efficiency, and economy of intentional actions. Makowski presents and reinterprets Kotarbiński’s views on these dimensions of our activities and sheds new light on the most important areas of action theory.

Abstract
A substantial evidence-based practice has emerged among educational researchers and policy-makers in recent years. Less attention, however, has been given to the actual process of determining ‘what works’ and ‘best practices’ in producing the evidence needed. There exists a critical need to develop effective techniques and tools that help researchers and evaluators make sense of the available evidence. This paper discusses an example of a Program Effectiveness/Scale Rating System, which was developed as a tool to help policymakers understand the impact of programs, strategies, and innovations within a school-university partnership. An example is shared in which a local education partnership program was evaluated in Phoenix, Arizona and policy recommendations based on results were rendered. By placing evaluation results into a format that is easy to understand, this scale can help policy-makers make informed judgments on the worth of a program or strategy. A short discussion regarding ways in which this scale could be used inferentially (e.g., for state- or nation-wide programs) is offered.

Banks are usually is the source of national economy through their good and bad performance it is highly impact on the country's growth. Therefore, it is more essential that how banks can minimize the conflict and satisfy to their employees. This study is based on the quantitative analysis through survey form. Descriptive statistics is used and hypotheses have been tested. Likert scale has been used for the questionnaire. This is an empirical study and sample size 150 been taken from its population which is collected from baking sector of Karachi. The output has been found that measurement scale significantly impact on the performance of employees; conflict is normal in the organizations. Therefore, this study suggested that it is easiest way to avoid the conflict throughout the management conflicts skills and management should be proactive to handle this issue on their routine basis; management should provide the better opportunity and working environment to each employees. There would be equal opportunity for both male as well female employees; Communication must be comprehensible because it reduces the gap and differences among the employees.

1. that location of the billboard, the environment around it and its distance from the point of purchase makes an impact on the effectiveness of the billboard and this in turn leads to increase in footfalls and finally sales.

In this article, I propose that there are fundamental limitations to current scientific mainstream methods of writing about therapeutic processes that in fact hinder our ability to both write about our therapeutic process and to learn from other clinicians’ and researchers’ writings.
In my view, these limitations may partially be compensated for by allowing creative writing, poetry and other forms of art to be the major part of a case study, where the objective measures must be integrated into the subjective frame of writing. Creative writing conveys its truth by acknowledging the intense subjective complexity originating from sensations and emotions accompanying the actual objective memory. Therefore, describing only the client and therapist’s narrative itself or material that is only observable by external senses, heavily compromises the quality of the therapeutic process.

Visual elements of advertising are analyzed in the article, revealing their classifications and principals of usage in advertisements. The insights of Lithuanian and foreign authors are analysed achieving to determine the principal visual elements which compose the system of print advertising. The research revealed that visual elements of advertising can be pictorial and verbal. Moreover, both groups of the elements are composed of particular common components, forming the layout. Achieving to create a background for the evaluation of advertising effectiveness, the coherence between visual elements of advertising and the methods of advertising effectiveness measurement is presented.

This paper proposes to unravel what digital technologies have to offer using proven academic models, in order to make a distinction between what may be considered as evolution or disruption in Procurement. The evolution in value creation through process digitization is first of all quantified according to purchasing maturity, and two disruptions are then analyzed: the ongoing platformization of purchases and the upcoming use of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence. At each stage, the operational consequences for the change management to be effected by CPOs are analyzed and discussed. Four tracks for future research in that direction are proposed.

Background: Chronic hip, knee, and ankle injuries are very common issues in the whole world. Musculoskeletal disorder hampers the development in several sectors including training and athletes’ performance. Social, industrial, economic, and education declines are often caused by poor muscular-articular problems. This research aims to reveal the effectiveness of combine massage and physiotherapeutic exercises in: (1) the treatment of chronic hips, knee and ankle injuries; (2) improving and increasing the low limb strength and flexibility; (3) reducing the chronic pain of degenerative diseases; (4) improving the physical and mental wellbeing of human body; (5) increasing motor or sensory function; (6) increasing athlete’s performance. This research is quasi-experimental with: quantitative approach. The sample of this study was 15 patients with chronic hips, knee and ankle injuries, taken by purposive sampling technique. The data were collected using measurement and treatment with combine massage and physiotherapeutic exercise. Data were analyzed using the descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, paired sample t-test, and correlation among items using SPSS Amos.23. The result showed that there is a significant difference between pre-test-posttest strength measurement with P value (0.003<0.05). A significant difference between pre and posttest of all kinds of movement flexibilities is with the P value < 0.05. There is a strong correlation between combine massage and physiotherapeutic to the chronic knee, knee, and ankle with r >0.5. In conclusion, massage and physiotherapeutic exercise were found to be a vital part to improve human body health and it can be used by everybody.

Objective:this study aimed to assess the nurses' knowledge toward management of heart failure and to determine the effect of nursing educational program by comparing the pre-test and post-test score on nurse's knowledge toward management of heart failure.Methodology: A quasi-experimental (pre-post test) study had been used through the present study with application of pre-post test approach for both studied and controlled groups during the period fromNovember 1 st , 2015 to May 1 st , 2016, in Medical city at Al Najaf city.Purposive sample was selected which consist of (40) nurses. The sample is divided in to two groups; (20) nurses as a study group are exposed to the nursing education program, and the other (20) nurses are not exposed to the program considered as the control group. The measurement effectiveness of nursing educational program through the knowledge assessment includes (40) items. Data was analyzed by usingdescriptive data analysis and Inferential data analysis.Results: the results show that the educational program was effective among nurses' knowledge about management of patient with heart failure. It also shows that there is good improvement with highly significant differences in study group between pre and post-test, in overall items.Conclusion:The study concludes that the educational program is appropriate and effective way to improve the nurses' knowledge concerning management of patient with heart failure. Recommendation: The study recommends that nurses need to be joining in special courses in order to improve their knowledge so they can participate in educating patients through information obtained from these courses.
