MEN'S BASKETBALL TICKETING FREQUENTLY-ASKED QUESTIONS
Can I get a free ticket for someone who is not a Butler student? No. Students must present their ticket and valid Butler ID at the gate on game day. Non-Butler students must purchase a ticket. No exceptions.
How many tickets are available? There are 1,000 tickets available for students at all games, with more than half of those located in the Lower Level behind the baskets. For games that are not sold out to the general public, we are able to accommodate additional students.
How can I sit in the Lower Level? Lower level seating is available for all students for non-conference games.. However, you must be a registered member of Dawg Pound to sit on the south side nearest the team bench for all games and on the north side lower level for all BIG EAST games.
Do I still need to wait in line? Seating is still first come, first served. If you prefer a specific seating area then you may wish to still stand in line. However, if you have a ticket in your possession, you are guaranteed admission to the building.
Where is the ticket office? The Ticket Office is located inside Gate 4.
Who is eligible for a student ticket? Butler Athletics receives a portion of the student activity fee in order to provide admission to students. Therefore, only those students who have paid the activity fee for the semester are eligible for free entry to men's basketball. Those who have not may still enjoy free admission to other athletic events.
Do I still need to bring my Butler ID? YES! You must have your student ticket and your Butler ID to obtain entry to the building.
Will there be a stand-by line? Yes. If the student sections are not full at tip-off, students from the stand-by line will be allowed entry, provided they have their Butler ID.
Do I have to print my ticket? No! You will display your ticket inside the Butler Sports App.
How will I know when tickets are available? All students will receive an email from the Ticket Office when a new game is available. Dawg Pound members will receive a special email when early distribution is available for the membership. Dates also will be listed in the sidebar of all emails you receive from Dawg Pound.
