The attention ofall the Commis s ioners of Urban Local Bo dies in the State are
invited to the reference cited (copy enclosed), wherein Government have is sued the
following instructions an issue of new permissions for erection HOARDINGS 1
UNIPOLES I UNISTRUCTURES for advertisements in the limits ofULBs in the State»-
L HOARDINGS:
i) The standard sizes of the hoarding b o ard shall be as fo llows:

a) In case .of hoardings on streets, footpath o r ground, the standard
size of20'xlO' (to be read as "20 feet by 10 feet") should be
maintained.
b) In case of all other hoardings, one of the fo llo wing standard
sizes (Length x breadth) s hould be maintained -
a.20'xI0' I b.20'x20.' I t.30')(20'

d.. 30'xIS' I e.20'xIS' I f.40'x20'
g. 60'x20' (only in fringe areas)
ii) Siz e of ho ard ings shall, as far as possible, be proportionate to the

general average width of the abutting road. Oil ro ads with less than
60' width, tile larg es t standard size hoarding i.e. 60'x20' shall not
be permitted.
iii) The minimum dis tance between two hoarding s an the Same s ide of the
road/alignment shall be maintained in such a way that the proposed
hoarding will not obstruct the view of existing permitted hoarding.
iv) Hoarding shall be designed for 200 Ibn wind speed;
II. UNIPO LEIUNIS TRUCTRUES :
i) Maximum display size 25'-0' width Xi 25'-0' height;
ii) Total height should not be more than 40'-0" from ground level;
iii) The minimum distance between two UNIPOLES 1 UNISTRUCTURES
shall be maintained in such a way that the proposed UNIPQLES /
UNlSTRUCTURES will not obstruct me view of existing permitted
UNIPO LES 1 UNISTRUCTURES.
IV) UNlPOLES 1 UNISTRUCTURES should be designed for 200 km wind

speed;
m. The advertiser shall submit structural stability certificate from .any reputed
Engineering college for erection of HOARDING$ 1 UNlPOLE I UNISTRUC TRUES
as the case may be, and take occupancy certificate from Corporation, then only

advertisements will be allowed.
2. Therefore, aU the Commissioners of ULBs in the State are hereby instructed to

follow the above instructions, scrupulously.

The attention of the DTCP! Director of Municipal Administration, A,P'r Guntur
are invited to the references cited.
2. In contlnuatlon to the Memo 1st cited, Government hereby issued the following
instructions on issue of new permissions for erection of hoardings! Unipoles/
Unlstructures for advertisements in the limits of ULBs in the State:-
I. HOARDINGS:
l) The standard sizes of the hoarding board shall be as follows:
a. In case of hoardings on streets, footpath or ground, the standard size of

20'x10' (to be read as "20 feet by 10 feet") should be maintained.
b. In case of all other hoardings, one of the following standard sizes (length x '
breadth) should be maintained-
a. 20'x10' I b. 20'x20' I c. 30'x20'

d. 30'x1S' I e. 20'x15' I f. 40'x20'
q. 60'x20' (only in frlnqe areas)
ii) Size of hbardings shall, as far as possible, be proportionate to the general

average width of the abutting road. On roads with less than 60' Width, the
largest standard slze hoarding i.e. 60'x20' shall not be permitted.
iii) The minimum distance between two hoardings on the same side of the
. road/alignment shall be maintained in such a way that the proposed
hoarding will not obstruct the view of existing permitted hoarding.
Iv) Hoarding shall be designed for 200 km wind speed;
II. UNIPOLE/UNISTRUCTRUES:
i). Maximum display size 25'-0" width X 25'-0" height;
ll), Total height should not be more than 40'-0" from ground level;
iii). The minimum distance between two Unipoles/Unistructures shall be

maintained in such a way that the proposed Unipoles/Unistructures will
not obstruct the view of existing permitted Unipoles/Unistructures.
iv). Unipole/Unistructres should be designed' for 200 km wind speed;

III. The advertiser shall Submit structural stability certificate from any reputed
