Organic Experiments

The document describes 15 experiments testing organic compounds for various functional groups. Experiment 11 tests for an alcoholic (-OH) group using ester and Ceric ammonium nitrate tests. Experiment 12 tests for a phenolic group using Ferric chloride and Azo dye tests. Experiment 13 tests for an aldehyde (-CHO) group using Schiff's reagent, Tollen's reagent, and Fehling's solution tests. Experiment 14 tests for a carboxylic (-COOH) group using litmus, sodium bicarbonate, and ester tests. Experiment 15 tests for an amino (-NH2) group using carblyamine and Azo dye tests.
