Null 27

The salt was analyzed to identify one acidic and one basic radical. Upon testing, it was found that the acidic radical was oxalate (C2O42-) as confirmed by the formation of a white calcium oxalate precipitate with calcium chloride and the discharge of pink KMnO4 color. The basic radical was determined to be ammonium (NH4+) as confirmed by the smell of ammonia with sodium hydroxide and the formation of white ammonium chloride fumes with concentrated hydrochloric acid.
