Amy Almond was a member of the Eagle volleyball team from 1999-02.

Almond, is the only two-time all-region honoree in program history, earning the American Volleyball Coaches Association accolade in 2001 and 2002. The Columbus, Ohio, native was crowned Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year in 2001 and 2002, becoming only the second player in program history to earn two Player of the Year awards.

Almond still ranks third in MSU history in career kills (1,672) and sixth in career hitting percentage (.267). She is currently still ranked sixth in single-season kills (517) and owns the freshman-class record for hitting percentage (.301).
