Mike Brumfield played golf at Morehead State from 1989-93. In 1993, Brumfield was named Ohio Valley Conference Golfer of the Year. He was also the individual medalist at the 1993 OVC Golf Championship.

Brumfield was an All-OVC First-Team selection in 1993. He had the top stroke average for Morehead State his senior year (1993).
