Laradean Brown was the first head women’s volleyball coach in Morehead State history.  She compiled a 193-60-7 (.756) record from 1972-80.

Brown coached MSU to Kentucky Women’s Intercollegiate Conference championships in 1974 and 1976.  Her 1973, 1977 and 1979 teams finished as conference runners-up.  Her 1977 and 1979 squads placed third in the Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women Regionals.
