Lawrence "Lott" Marzetti

Lawrence Marzetti played football for Morehead State from 1936-38. He was a tackle on both sides of the ball for the Eagles. He earned honorable mention All-American honors in 1938 as a senior.

Marzetti was named to the all-south and All-Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference teams in 1938. He was also a member of a Kentucky all-star team that played the professional Louisville Tanks in a charity game.

Marzetti also was as a placekicker for the Eagles. He once made 16 field goals in a row. He was a co-captain of the 1938 Eagles alongside All-American teammate and fellow Hall of Fame member John “Buck” Horton. 

Marzetti passed away in 2006 at the age of 89 in Catonsville, Md.
